Após goleada, Flamengo enfrenta o Bahia em busca da segunda vitória

Depois de golear o Avaí por 4 a 0 na estreia no Campeonato Brasileiro, o Flamengo volta a campo pela competição neste domingo, quando visita o Bahia, às 16 horas (de Brasília), no Estádio Pituaçu, em Salvador (BA), pela segunda rodada. Ganhando, o clube carioca permanece entre os líderes. Já o time baiano busca a reação após perder por 2 a 1 para o América-MG em seu retorno à elite do futebol nacional. A expectativa pelo primeiro jogo do Bahia em casa, após sete anos afastado da Primeira Divisão, é enorme, tanto que os ingressos para o duelo foram esgotados na venda antecipada.

Vanderlei Luxemburgo, técnico do Flamengo, vem destacando para seus jogadores a importância de uma vitória para manter o embalo na competição. O treinador considera que os pontos feitos como visitante farão a diferença na reta final da competição.

"Partindo do princípio de que um time que pretende brigar pelo título terá sempre que fazer a lição de casa, acredito que os pontos conquistados fora de casa serão os determinantes para definir o campeão e as vagas na próxima Copa Libertadores. Justamente por isso que tenho reforçado a importância de buscarmos sempre a vitória no campo de nosso adversário", disse Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

Justamente pelo desejo de vitória é que os jogadores do Flamengo prometem uma postura ousada em Salvador.

"Nós vamos enfrentar um grande adversário e em seu campo, onde ele é muito forte. Se ficarmos recuados o tempo todo, vamos chamar o Bahia para o nosso campo e será muito complicado de sair para o jogo. Precisamos nos impor dentro de campo e isso só acontece quando se joga para frente, buscando marcar gols. Claro que vamos respeitar o nosso adversário, mas não ficaremos recuados", disse o meia Thiago Neves.

Apesar da postura ofensiva prometida pelos flamenguistas, os jogadores do time carioca sabem que a tendência é o Bahia começar o jogo pressionando.

"Existe a tendência de o Bahia partir para cima nos primeiros minutos do confronto, pois o estádio vai estar cheio e a torcida vai empurrar o time para frente. Cabe ao Flamengo ter inteligência para saber lidar com este tipo de situação, não se afobar e encontrar o momento certo para sair para o jogo e surpreender o adversário", explicou o meia Renato Abreu.

Para este jogo, o Flamengo continua sem poder contar com o lateral direito Leonardo Moura, vetado pelo departamento médico por conta de dores na coxa direita. Galhardo será o titular. O volante Willians, afastado do elenco após dar uma cotovelada em Negueba no treino de quarta-feira, foi reintegrado e será titular.
