
Lisboa, 29 jul (Lusa) - O primeiro-ministro, Pedro Passos Coelho, revelou hoje que não houve ordens de José Sócrates e do secretário-geral do Sistema de Informações da República Portuguesa (SIRP) para o fornecimento de dados ao grupo Ongoing.
Passos Coelho, em nota enviada à Agência Lusa pelo seu gabinete, especifica ter solicitado hoje esclarecimentos "por escrito" ao secretário-geral do SIRP, depois de o jornal Público ter noticiado que o anterior diretor do Serviço de Informações Estratégicas de Defesa (SIED), Jorge Silva Carvalho, "transmitiu informações ao grupo Ongoing, para o qual foi contratado após ter saído das 'secretas', com autorização do então primeiro-ministro", José Sócrates.
"Do esclarecimento prestado pelo secretário-geral do SIRP resulta que a notícia carece totalmente de fundamento, uma vez que nem da parte do primeiro-ministro, nem do secretário-geral do SIRP, houve quaisquer ordens ou orientações no sentido referido pela notícia em causa", diz Passos Coelho.
O ex-primeiro-ministro José Sócrates esclareceu também hoje, através de um porta-voz, que nunca teve relações diretas com o antigo diretor do SIED, negando que alguma vez o tenha autorizado a passar dados à Ongoing.
Em causa está a alegada transferência de informações por parte do então diretor do SIED para a empresa Ongoing, onde trabalha atualmente, noticiada pelo Expresso na sua última edição.
Segundo o jornal, o ex-diretor do SIED terá passado à Ongoing informações relacionadas com dois empresários russos e sobre metais estratégicos, antes de abandonar a chefia dos serviços, em novembro de 2010.
Jorge Silva Carvalho já negou ter fornecido informações à Ongoing e pediu uma audiência à comissão parlamentar dos Assuntos Constitucionais, Direitos, Liberdades e Garantias para prestar esclarecimentos, que decidiu ouvir primeiro o presidente do Conselho de Fiscalização dos Serviços de Informação, Marques Júnior.
Em entrevista publicada na quinta-feira pelo Diário de Notícias, o ex-diretor do SIED admitiu ter enviado correios eletrónicos [e-mails] de sua casa sobre matéria tratada pelo Expresso, mas garante que não violou o dever de sigilo ou segredo de Estado.
Contactado pela Agência Lusa, o diretor adjunto do Público, Miguel Gaspar, esclareceu que "na entrevista ao DN, [Jorge Silva Carvalho] diz que tinha de ter autorização da pessoa a quem o serviço responde" para passar informação, "ou seja, o primeiro-ministro", e acrescenta que o jornal teve indicação "de que ele [José Sócrates] autorizou".
O Governo já anunciou a abertura de um inquérito aos Serviços de Informação da República na sequência destas notícias e dada a possibilidade de ter havido fugas de informação das 'secretas'.
Por outro lado, o Governo desmentiu "categoricamente" ter pedido às 'secretas' informações sobre Bernardo Bairrão, que foi convidado para fazer parte do Governo, mas acabou por não integrar o Executivo, como também escreveu o Expresso nas últimas semanas.
