Nuvem vulcânica volta a atingir o sul do Brasil,Voos cancelados

SÃO PAULO - A nuvem de cinza vulcânica voltou a atingir na manhã desta terça-feira, 14, a cidade Porto Alegre, mas se locomoveu no início da tarde, quando se concentrava em Caxias do Sul e Santa Maria, no Rio Grande do Sul, e Florianópolis, em Santa Catarina.
A emissão de fumaça pelo vulcão Puyehue também começou a perder intensidade, de acordo com o Volcanic Ash Advisory Centres da Argentina (VAAC), instituto responsável pelo monitoramento da situação no Cone Sul. A informação é repassada pela Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB). Um novo boletim deve ser divulgado após as 18h.
Segundo o Centro de Gerenciamento da Navegação Aérea (CGNA), o relatório aponta também que a nuvem está mais baixa a cerca de 1.000 metros.
Em nota, a TAM informou que devido à movimentação de uma nova nuvem de cinzas do vulcão chileno Puyehue, os voos de e para Montevidéu, no Uruguai, marcados para hoje foram cancelados novamente. As operações nos aeroportos de Buenos Aires, Argentina, também permanecem suspensas. Os clientes devem ligar para a Central de Atendimento da companhia.
Já a Gol disse que todos os voos com destinos a essas cidades continuam suspensos. Segundo a companhia, os clientes estão sendo avisados por telefone ou e-mail sobre os cancelamentos ou remarcações. A empresa também pede que os passageiros entrem em contato para agilizar o processo e se informarem.
A companhia argentina LAN, em comunicado, disse que ainda espera a atualização das autoridades sobre o funcionamento dos aeroportos na Argentina para retomar as operações. Até as 14h, a empresa disse que os voos estariam cancelados.
A Pluna não foi encontrada para comentar a nova movimentação da nuvem de cinzas.
