RIO DE JANEIRO - Danças, caretas, cantadas e muitos gritos. Um encontro com Jim Carrey não poderia ser diferente. No Rio de Janeiro para lançar o filme “Os Pinguins do Papai”, o ator participou de uma coletiva de imprensa, realizada na tarde desta segunda-feira (27), com direito até a entrada triunfal com dança e música ao fundo. Ele também não poupou elogios ao país, ao carinho dos fãs e às mulheres brasileiras - o humorista não deixou passar nem jornalista.
Apesar de agradecer a todo o momento por ser reconhecido no Brasil, Carrey confessou durante a entrevista que está no país porque os brasileiros não o deixam em paz. "Eles me perguntavam por que eu nunca vinha. E essa é a razão de eu estar aqui para lançar esse filme. Vim dar um 'oi', conhecer uma nova cultura, um novo país", explicou.
O ator também não descartou participar ou gravar um projeto em terrinha brasileira. “Eu tenho muita vontade de fazer um filme aqui. O Rio é incrível, de tirar o fôlego. Se tivesse uma oportunidade, seria ótimo. Gosto de explorar coisas novas”, confessou Jim.
E se depender de um incentivador, ele poderá contar com Rodrigo Santoro, seu colega de elenco no filme “I Love You, Philip Morris". Aliás, o Famosidades bem viu o galã no mesmo hotel que o ator americano e, por isso, logo quisemos saber: chegaram a se encontrar no Rio?
“Acabamos de almoçar juntos. Ele tem meu telefone e eu tenho o dele. Pretendemos nos encontrar em Los Angeles. Ele é super legal e tem um talento formidável. Ficamos muito próximos depois do filme”, contou.
