Amy Winehouse não iria adotar criança, diz porta-voz!

SÃO PAULO - Amy Winehouse morreu há mais de uma semana e muitos mistérios rondam a vida e a morte da cantora. Um deles é a história de que a inglesa estava prestes a adotar uma criança.

Porém, em entrevista ao site “TMZ”, o porta-voz da cantora negou que ela iria adotar uma menina de 10 anos da ilha de Santa Lucia, no Caribe.

“Não é verdade. Elas se conheceram em Santa Lucia, mas de forma alguma Amy estava prestes a adotá-la”, disse. Amy Winehouse e a menina Dannika Augustine se conheceram quando a cantora passou uma temporada no país, em 2008.

E por falar em Amy Winehouse... Seu pai, Mitch, foi ao Parlamento britânico nesta segunda-feira (1) para pedir que os políticos façam mais pelos jovens dependentes de álcool e drogas.

“Isto não é por causa de Amy, porque nós estávamos numa posição afortunada de ser capazes de custear a ida de Amy a uma clínica particular de reabilitação. Isto é sobre pessoas que não podem arcar com isso”, contou ele aos jornalistas.

Mitch se encontrou com o presidente do Comitê de Assuntos Domésticos, Keith Vaz, e com o ministro do Interior, James Brokenshire. Vale destacar que o único centro de reabilitação do sistema público de saúde britânico fechou no ano passado. Os dependentes têm de enfrentar listas de espera por tratamento.

“Em vez de gastar dinheiro no sistema de justiça criminal, poderia haver uma realocação dos recursos. Havia apenas um centro de reabilitação para jovens que acabou de fechar por falta de fundos, portanto, nós precisamos examinar isso. Precisamos ter condições de ajudar nossos filhos”, disse.
